Update/rebuild only the CHD?

Postby ivwshane on Thu May 20, 2004 12:50 am

I've finished updating my mame collection to .82 and I'm only missing the chd images.

I'm pretty sure I have most of them but I don't know.

How can I use clrmame pro to scan the directories and subdirectories I have all the CHD files in and move them to another folder with all the correct subfolders?

Rebuilder doesn't have an option to do only CHD images and I don't think the scanner has the ability to move images all to one folder.

CHDs don't need to be in correctly named subdirectories anymore, you can put them wherever you want as long as you add the location to MAME's rompaths.

I keep all mine in the same place and seperate from the ROMs, I personally think having individual directories for single files is overkill and its allot easier to maintain them when they are in the same place and not mixed in with everything else.
