there are programs that'll play the music, then you can just record it using something like cool edit.

what game are you wanting to extract music from ?
Cheers,

Release.

I want to extract some music from classic NES or SNES games. Since most of them are done in midi I can use those as my cell phone's ringtone.

I'm pretty sure almost every nes and snes song you want is already available as a midi.

This page should help though.

Tried many wav to midi programs.... None of those work right. Guess I'll have to download cool edit and see if it'll work.....

So far I found some Mario, Zelda, and robot animes' midi. It's so much fun to see people's face when they hear my Mazinger Z ringtone.
