How to take a screenshot
---

Windows:
push PrintScreen key
load Paint (Start -> Run -> mspaint -> OK)
Edit -> Paste
File -> Save As...

File name: (any name you want)
Save as type: JPEG


Mac:
Command-Shift-4
(Apple key + Shift + 4)

A target cursor will appear.
Drag it across the region you want to screenshot, then click.

(Screenshot will be saved to your Desktop)


Linux:
download package gnu-gscreenshot-x86-4.0.1.0.04.07_13.tar.bz2
tar -xjf gnu-gscreenshot-x86-4.0.1.0.04.07_13.tar.bz2
cd gnu-gscreenshot-x86-4.0.1.0.04.07_13
./configure; make config && make && make install
modprobe gnu-gscreenshot-x86-4.0.1.0.04.07_13
restart x server
edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and add the line:
ScreenShot: /usr/local/bin/gnu-gscreenshot-x86-4.0.1.0.04.07_13
recompile kernel
reboot
gksudo apt-get -c dist-upgrade
sudo fsck
give up
reboot into Windows
follow "Windows" directions above
