Another stupid joke I got...

Postby KoHC on Fri Jun 06, 2003 1:15 pm

In one of the children talent contest, kids have to answer this question:

"How to help other countries with short-supply of food? Explain in your own words."

Kids from Europe don't understand the word "short-supply".
Kids from Africa don't understand the word "food".
Kids from America don't understand the word "other countries".
Kids from Asia don't understand the words "Explain in your own words".

Must appeal to your oh so logical sense of humour. No hang on.....I think I got that the wrong way...no....ok dont worry about it.

There was a young man called Kipper
Who had an unusual 'flipper'
He flapped it around
With the tart of the town
Who bore a tad pungent nipper!

Sorry, the joke was Chinese and I do have problem translating it to English.

Since I don't have many friends from Europe, I'm not sure about that part. Most area in Africa has short supply of food. American students score very low on geography (or almost every test) compare to other countries. Aisans (especially Chinese) have trouble express their own feelings or opinions (if you have few Asian friends you'll know what I mean).
