Gamecube flops!!!

It seems that the big N are saying this is what they predicted. Have you ever seen nintendo release a machine that hasnt sold out???

We are all doomed. XBOX (read PC) is going to rule us all. Might as well get the XBOX PC and be done with it.

Time and again history has shown that Japanese consumers are the WORST indicators when it comes to purchasing video game systems and software. If they don't launch with some weird ass game (that is, weird by other standards), the system seems to suffer even if the other titles are great.

Everyone thought the N64 wouldn't sell at all here in the states due to a lukewarm response in it's home territory. But it sold fairly well considering the bad decision to use carts instead of CDs.

The Dreamcast, as you all know, was the same way. It sold by the truckload everywhere but Japan and as a result, Sega pulled the plug.

With a such a low price and a group of decent titles in the near future, I'll be buying a Game Cube and Micro$oft can kiss butt. The last thing we need is MS coming in a totally ruining the industry with their "business" practices.

with the terrosis dissary last week, many developers are now shelvin some of their games...least for the time being...

..and the economy is not good either..

300,000 when the world economy is picking up from a big fat stop
and the USA, which so many think is full of idiots and NUCLEAR WARHEADS is itching to drop some bombs

a country that once faced the pissed off rage of USA was probably just a LITTLE more concerned with any rash actions we might've pulled rather than a game system that isn't being hyped with a shortage

they know they'll get one when they want it
and that one will be waiting

Yeah Metal Gear Solid 2 is being held back and may not ever be released in the US or UK.

I'd still go with Gamecube anyway. I've given too much to microsoft already and got nothing but problems back.

The gamecube is getting Tony Hawk 3. Thats me sold!

PS2 isnt bad but my sister has one so there isnt any point in me getting one.

Will xbox ever be released as a card for the PC or only as a whole PC combination machine and a console?

yes, the UK date, just like all games not originally made in the UK is still on for exactly three years and two months after the second release of the game
