My FTP will be down for a while

I needed to reformat one of my servers and before I did I thought I backed up the user database and file settings but guess what? It didn't work [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img] So it will be a while till it's up and running full speed.

Why not use Serv U?

Worked pretty decently, and I have seen it on a fair few FTPs plus Hosts.

Because the only FTP server that comes close to warftp daemon is ws ftp server (according to all the reviews I've been reading). Warftp is pretty good but's it's been giving me a ton of troubles lately.

Nevermind, I just tried the evaluation version of ws ftp and it sucks. I'll check serv-u and see if it will do what I want. I'm also going to look into MS's iis (I just hope I can keep it secure).

My favorite is G6, which is now Bulletproof I think. Why do I bother playing around with FTP server software when I'm on 56k? Pure boredom.

Well I'm trying serv-u right now (the key DM that you gave me doesn't, it's for an older version, I'm using 4.0) and it's the best one so far. It's still not as good as war ftp but it does have some nice features. Hopefully I can get it registered in about 30 days or it will be useless.
