My monitor

Well, I had some warning at least; but last night after spazzing out for the last time (has been doing this for months) my Gateway 17 inch monitor burnt out. Have no idea when I might be able to get a replacement, so this is likely to hamper my PC experience to say the least.

News Posters, keep up the good work if you can. Hopefully this won't keep me off for more than a week or so.

Actually, I have nicked my sister's monitor just for tonight. Luckily MAME came out a few hours ago so I was able to upload.

I remember when I had a TV that took forever to get a picture
so I would turn on my atari and then use memory to know when the game was loaded and press the appropriate buttons to get me into the game by the time the screen came in...

anyway, nice job posting with a blown monitor (ignoring the other, more obvious situation...)

Yeah, I'll see if I can keep up on updated emulators, although most of the time I think if I don't see it on the front page here, I probably wouldn't see it.

That would be quite an accomplishment managing to post with a busted monitor, but I'm guessing he's posting from another computer in the house, PD...
