Oh, I'm so sad... Lookie here: http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f ... ncial1929E DT0213.DTL

I wonder what people will switch to after KaZaA craps out? I'm thinking of using Grokster...

Edit: Edited for spelling mistake.

Isn't eDonkey (or whatever it's called) a P2P program?

WinMX is only for music, correct? No point in using a music-only P2P program. Why have only music, when you can have it all? :P

KaZaA's going DOWN

Postby TheLastKamikaze on Sun May 26, 2002 7:49 pm

It isn't going anywhere...

here's a quote from the link posted by mr rom.

"The collapse of Kazaa, however, is not expected to slow trading activity on the company's network, one of the most popular file-sharing sites in the world. Kazaa said it has sold the network to another firm that the music and film industry has not sued yet."

So, it isn't going to die out just yet

Are you guys using KaZaA Lite? If not you should be...

Yes, I'm definitely using Kazaa Lite.

I'd say that the record companies are stupid for trying to sue, but if they don't persue what they perceive as copyright infringement then they really WILL have problems.

I wish there was a solution where everyone could be happy but I guess there isn't

I've been using IRC lately to get albums anyway
