Game exclusives suck!!!

Yep another moan!!

All these system exclusive games are really starting to piss me off!

Being an avid fan of The Lord of the Rings book I was pleased to hear about a game coming out that faithfully reacreates the book in all its glory! The story is all there, the characters (of which you can play as most) they even created a virtual free roaming middle earth to explore, some of which has half a mile to terrain to trot about in.

And after reading this promising preview what do I find out?

Fucking Xbox exclusive!!! God damn it I was hoping to not have to buy one of those and become even more of a slave to microshite but if I want to play this game (and JSR Future too btw) I'll have to get one.

That sucks!

Anybody else feel this way too or is it just me [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Yeah that must be annoying, I am sure it won't be long before the games become multi format again, MS is just trying to get people on the bandwagon since it is still a relatively new console.

Yeah lets hope so.

Not sure who is making the game of the book but I think Universal Interactive is making the game of the film though.

They both look great. But as a bigger fan of the book than the film (although it was excellent) I know which one I'd rather play.

Thats why I'm contemplating getting myself an Xbox when I get home. Bloody microshite!

Oh by the way, if it makes you feel any better, apparantly JSRF suffers from bad level design like the original (take half an hour to get to some tiny tag point on a sky scraper only to fall off and have to do it again) and also the 4 player multiplayer games arnt much fun.

Also, the Japs have a far superior pad to the rest of us. WHY GOD WHY?!?!?!?!
