I don't care about their "new console". I just want that freaking keyboard for the GameCube! How could Nintendo stupid enough to release Phantasy Star Online in U.S. without the keyboard and refuse to make one?

A similar thing is happening with Micro$hite with their xbox. They say they want to keep as far away from the PC side of things as they can and therefor wont be releasing a keyboard and mouse.

I heard a rumor that a 3rd party developer might be making them.

Its not even as if you can go get a couple of USB bits like you can with the PS2 because those wankers didnt put any other ports on the damn machine.

I think the PS2 has both USB and firewire and much more room for expansion.

i think they're going to lose a lot of money. the Gamecube is already having a really bad sales, and now they're going to put more money into a new system just barely a couple years later?

in any case, it should be interesting to see what they can make that's better than 128 bit.
