Damn it, Sidewinder help

I can't get my Sidewinder to work in any PC games, though it works in emulators. It's status is 'ok' in the control panel, and I can even test the movement/buttons with no problems. When I try to set my buttons in GTA 3 (for example) it's as if I don't even have a gamepad. It's really confusing me

change the USB port you have it plugged into... you may have it in the second port (this is a long shot answer... but it worked for me)

... Also which SW are you using? The regular or the PRO?

His SideWinder has a standard gameport, no USB (best one). But I think his problems are all fixed now.

Yeah, thanks TLK. I have the standard gameport version.

It works now. I was trying to get it to recognize in GTA 3. I'm still not sure what I did to fix it, but I'm not complaining.

Okay, here's what you do:

1) Purchase a PSX arcade stick

2) Purchase a PSX to USB converter

2 1/2) The above should cost about $40-$45 USD if purchased in the proper places

3) Combine them

4) Enjoy

:D
