What are your favourite news groups (any topic).

I want to know which ones are good/usefull... so far I have the famous roms one (alt.binaries.emulators.misc) my ISP's news groups and the Microsoft ones... and that's it.

Just wanted to know which ones (if any!) you guys visit

are you on @home too? I see you're in Hamilton, not to far from shithole London. Anyways, what are the ones with Romz called? I have the mame one but it's just discussion.

No I'm on Sympatico High Speed ADSL. Great d/l's but not so hot u/l's.

the newsgroup is

news:alt.binaries.emulators.misc

though I;m not sure how to get the roms... any help? They aren't simple attachments!

I think what you have to do rejoin them. On Outlook express you simply select the desired group of files you want to rejoin, right click, and then select 'decode and rejoin' just make sure you only have the posts with the attachments selected, or else it'll end up corrupted. Just save yourself the trouble and head over to http://www.emuchina.net/roms.htm, it's fairly simple to navigate, just look at the bottum of the screen to see where the links will take you, assuming you can't read Chinese.
