Well, for CD-R and CD-RW brands, I've found the best results just by sticking with recognizable brand names such as Memorex, TDK, etc.

I really can't tell you what the best burning software is because everyone will tell you something different... However I like both Nero and DiscJuggler.

Things to be careful of while making copies? If you want to be on the safe side, don't run any other programs while you burn, and if you're not sure of what you're doing and don't want to waste any cd's, do a practice burn on a re-writable.

Yeah I'd reccomend getting at least a couple of CDRWs so you can practice first.

I can upload the cracked version of the latest Disc Juggler to an FTP if you want too. Shouldnt be any trouble at work. I'll be able to up the 10mb file in a couple of mins I think.

DJ is really really simple to use. Only problem I've found is with MP3s where it converts them to audio tracks automatically. As far as ordinary data or burning disc images I've never had a problem.
