Adidas, since you are clearly the most sleuth like rom finding, undercover game detecting, super seeking searchinator type bloke I know, I though I would ask you if you could help me with a little rom search?

I remembered an Amiga game I used to have a demo of and always wanted to play the full version of. It was called Super Frog and I think Team17 made it but I'm not 100% on that.

Seen it anywhere on your travels?

If you happen to come across it can you post a link or let me know where you found it?

Cheers!!

Yeah I've got the SuperFrog game and the ROM as well. It was made by Team 17, and was originally going to be lude, what a pity.

Funnily enough I actually used Google right after posting here and found the rom but the damn thing must have been corrupt as I got the dredded software error screen.
I found another site though from which I'm downloading the rom as I type this. Its got quite a bit of stuff and seems reasonably fast too.

Amiga gear and other shit too

Next on my list are Gods, Prince of Persia, Pushover, Super Cars 2 and Brat (cos it looks interesting)

Cheers for that link too!

Nah the BBC Micro version was the best as it was the first time I ever saw the game.

Total son of a bitch to beat is that one.

Can somebody tell me why most of the damn Amiga roms I download dont work properly??

Gods - Got stuck on some screen telling me about passwords.
Superfrog - My first download just didnt work and the next time I got it the superfrog sprite was missing.
James Pond - Was glitchy etc etc etc

Damian, you couldnt post up your copy of superfrog for me could you?

I'm not too desperate for it. I just remember having the game on my Amiga as a demo and wanted to relive some old memories.

How big is the PC version you have Yak and I assume its DOS. Might not be able to get sound on my PC, it can be a bit of an arse with sound in DOS sometimes.

Damian, thanks for the link man, I'll download that at home.

Just under a meg and it is DOS.

I never actually tried it, but the other games on the CD worked fine for me (up until I got rid of them and started using WinSTon).
