RedAlert2:Yuris Revenge

Has anyone had problems with this?
It says the spec requiremnets are the same RA2,but the game slows to a crawl,even on the highest speed setting.Compared to RA2 and both Tiberium Sun/Firestorm,i find Yuri's... almost unplayable.

I did disk drefragment,full scandisk,uninstalled a few programs,lowerd the graphics quality but still no difference in game speed.Note,this only seems to happen in Campaign modes or in 3+ players in Skirmish,especialy in the residential zones aps.Cant find my Nortons Utilites either so maybe its the registry or some swap fles hogging resources.

Sorted it,Yuris Revenge and Black and White dont get on very well.

I dont get on very well with B&W either funnily enough lol

Damn game made me so bored it hurt. Such a wonderful idea full of the most innovative ideas I've ever seen in a game only to be shattered by the need to spend every hour of every day babysitting those wanker villagers that cant live life by themselves for 10 damn seconds without you. Arrrrgh!!

I might try that new B&W patch sometime then if it helps with managing villages.

But maybe I'll stick with DC and PS2. For now anyway.

B & W was shite, thank christ I didn't pay for it; I downloaded it from an FTP Sabin gave to me.

Does Sabin still come here?

Actually i hear the latest B+w patch reduces the "desires" of the villagers to a managable extent.
Hehe,one day im gonna sacrifice the whole darned village! Lets see 'em say "Need more civic buildings " when ther'e dead! [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Oh GOD I hated Black & White.

Other than the fact that you can fling villagers and your creature's poo it really sucks.

.. you can only fling villagers and tiger shit for so long until you want to move on and play some Dreamcast.
