Yeah that sounds about right. I'm actually glad though as I was seriously thinking that my work had somehow managed to block MSN.

Its all up and running now though and I've added Adidas into my buddies list.

LOL Sounds like it worked like a charm. Sorry mate, I couldnt resist it after reading about the real dumbasses that contact you with such things.

For some reason my MSN doesnt tell me when you are online. Jewboy's one did though. Maybe I wrote it down wrong.

Is MSN down AGAIN? I just tried to log on at 7:45 EST and I'm not having any luck.

BTW Silverhaze, quite an email you sent me this morning! I was about to reply and tell the sender that they were a complete dumbass, until I read all the way through and realized it was a joke

I've been unable to sign onto MSN for the last 48 hours, has anyone else had any problems with it?

Ofiicial response from Micro$oft is that they had a hard drive failure in a server that runs it and they are taking steps to fix it.

Suppose to have been fixed by last night but I haven't tried yet.

Its weird, 2 people at work I know use MSN and both have been unable to log into it. One of them has lost all the contacts from his one too, yet mine has been untouched. It went down for one day and now its fine. None of my contacts have been online though so maybe they were affected worse. Jewboy's MSN is fine too.

My contacts were lost also. Probable answer? The hard rive that went down in the MSN server contained our contact info, you must be on another hard drive.

I was reading the news on the elevators at work and apparentlty there were service problems for about 72 hours because of a hardware failure.

I'm still having problems! I'm really starting to hate MSN Messenger:

Stick with it Adidas, all my friends at work have had their contacts restored now and it seems to be up and running properly for them. It shouldnt be long and it sure beats e-mail and those slow ass chat rooms too!

Plus file transfers make things fun!

Finally I am able to log back onto MSN. I've got Jewboy and Silverhaze back on my contacts list. I still need to put you back on, Damian. Anyone else have MSN that I can add?
