Who has Morpheus? I can't connect to the network anymore with v 1.3.3 for some reason. I try going to http://www.musiccity.com for an update, and it seems to be down.

CNET's downloads don't have an updated version yet either [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]

ok now i feel a little better knowing that i am not the only onbe with this problem. i get the message that my version is too old to connect even though i only installed it a week ago. and i got to music city this morning and they said not to download the upgrade but not why. damndest thing. I WANT MY DRAGONBALL GT EPISODES *sniff*. im getting all 64. i have 10 episodes now, not in order though lol. [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

I checked my drive after installin WinMX tonight, Ad Aware didn't complain about any spyware.

I usually leave Morpheus running while I'm at work

yesterday, I came home to a HAPPILY DOWNLOADING AND UPLOADING MORPHEUS and also a 'warning' message saying my Morph was too old to connect to the net, and upgrade it at musiccity.com

I clicked 'ok' and ignored it

later, I shut of my PC to clean up some stuff, and when I turn it back on, Morph won't connect

so I go to musiccity and it's down

that sucks, winMX put that fuckin annoying CYDOOR on my PC, so I erased that, and Kazaa has spyware!

oh well

I picked up some DBZ because a couple weeks ago, international channel wasn't bringing in the japanese stuff

lame eps that I missed...oh well
they started showing slayers with subtitles after and I've never seen that series before, so I'm happy

but it's tuesday, which means the most badass awesome show of all time is on (24) so I'm happy

I heard a rumor that they were given a cease and desist order awhile back, but that doesn't make sense...

unlike the lazy people that only post links:

Morpheus attemtped an update to the system/servers and it fucked it all up

there WILL be a new version, but NOT RIGHT NOW, please do not TRY to update as it will just waste bandwidth, slow them down, and not work anyway

kazaa still works, and WinMx put Cydoor on my PC or let it, because the only things I did between my last check and the one before it was get some mp3 files and winmx, install winmx and d/l more mp3 files

and mp3s can't install programs on computers unless they are magical mp3s and I don't have a single magic mp3 on my system, and never have

therefore, it is my conclusion that cydoor came through winmx (or it was time released by some other shady program, which would be really shady)
