I noticed this game in the shops the other day and thought I'd download it to see what its like.

Well.....its not brilliant and it seems like its trying to do a large amount of things and not doing them as well as it could.

That said, its only a 1CD download, it looks quite pretty and could be good fun in multiplayer. The best thing about it is that it doesnt even ask for a CD key!! All you need to do is download it, put it on a CD (it has virtual drive detectors so no Daemon tools) install it and you can play online.

So, what do you say? Anybody up for trying it out sometime?

Just had a peek at the website, might get a bit later.

Cars + guns + multiplayer = good.

You only get a rocket launcher and minigun but some gunz iz better than no gunz.

Should be worth a laugh or two and with such a small download and piss easy installation its rude not to ;)

I've just installed this Haze, but I'm getting stupidly long loading times, is there something wrong with my copy?

Thats weird, its not like that on my system other than when I first start the game. When I first tried it I was using Daemon Tools and it took an age before telling me to turn emulation off.

Once I burned it to a CD and ran it that way it seemed to work fine.

I'll test it and post again.

Ok it seems to load fine on my system. Both initial loading and track loading seems normal.

The copy I downloaded was called -www.bitreactor.to_Crashday-CLONECD

Im using an exe that is 7.91mb and Im just wondering about that because I cant find it in the download..... maybe I got that somewhere else.

I think I might have downloaded this to get it to work.

I figured the problem and it's because of my ram. I've only got 512MB and this bitch of a game need 1024MB :(

I'll pop into PC world on Saturday and pick up an extra chunk of ram, I need it for most new apps these days anyway.

Wow 512! Yeah that could help quite a lot.

Seriously, you will notice the improvement instantly!! Windows will load faster, applications will open quicker and you wont hear that little HD beavering away nearly as much.
