MTA: San Andreas Released

Postby Silverhaze on Tue Jan 24, 2006 10:02 am

The long awaited Multi Theft Auto server and client for GTA San Andreas has been released.

Almost 8 months ago we started working on a multiplayer modification for a brand new game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, called Multi Theft Auto (MTA). This release is the first MTA we've ever released based on our new revolutionary “Blue” technology and features the gamemode “Race”.

This release also features a very easy to use map editor allowing anyone to create a map containing spawnpoints, checkpoints, objects and “pickups”. The maps created can be added to an MTA server and played online with your friends at any time.

You can see the entire news post on their site here And you can download the files here Enjoy!

Lets hope it works with cracked copies of the game eh? ;)

It ran like shite on the missus' Athlon2k although I have to say the gfx card in that machine was shit.

In fact, it doesnt run 100% smoothly even on my system but I think thats more down to the gfx engine than anything else.
