eMule

can somebody explain to me how this works please?

Ive logged onto one of the edonkey servers, searched and found what I want to download but its just sitting there saying 'waiting'

Am I in a queue or has something gone wrong?

sounds like its trying to connect to the file from the host site but it wont let you

i get that too when im using bearshare..could very well be it either wont let you queue(from the computer that has the file) or the file non-exsits

what file is it and how big is it?

emule/edonkey sucks.

To test if you're doing everything right, search for porn pics and try to download a pic. Otherwise it's the file.

Yeah I was connected and stayed connected. I have downloaded using eMule before but dont think I will bother again.

Somebody suggested this thing called Shareaza which connects to 2 gnutella networks and also the eDonkey network too.

I found exactly the same file I was looking for with eMule and it started downloading after about 5 - 10 mins.
