Just wondering what stuff you guys use in case i'm missing something cool.

I'm using Zone Alarm Pro for firewall
Norton 2004 anti-virus
Window Blinds 4.4 for coolnessness, good if you have the RAM
Cacheman 5.5 (I think it does stuff but I can't tell)
Daemon Tools
Media Player 10
Ad-Aware (which is DA BOMB, I reckon windows needs this built in)
Nero Burning Rom
Any Password (thanks Class, wicked program)

I don't think I'm going to install Firefox... web most web sites say they are best viewed with IE.

Any other programs you guys reccomend?
God gave me everything I want!

That's complete BS. I don't use IE EVER except for Windows Update. I don't visit one site that Firefox doesn't make more enjoyable. I think anyone who doesn't give it a decent shot is really missing out. (I wouldn't try it at first either, but have been using it for a year or two now.)

My must have apps with descriptions where necessary:

Tag&Rename: Tags and renames music files with very little work (I handle 50 GB worth of albums with this)

Alcohol 120%

Foobar2000: Faster and uses less memory than Winamp

FlashFXP

AnyDVD: Decrypt DVDs on the fly

TorrentSpy: Look at a torrent's contents without having to write the files to your HDD, also see seeder/leecher stats

Firefox

Nero

dbPoweramp: convert music files from one format to another

ckRename: rename massive amounts of files

WinRAR

just installed firefox 1.0 and I have to admit it does seem "cleaner" than IE. It's fast and easy to use, gets the thumbs up from me.

Make sure you check out the extensions. Go to tools>extensions>get more

and check out some of the descriptions. There are some really good ones available, and adblock is pretty much a necessity (maybe it's installed by default in 1.0, not sure)
