In years past I have used it. I ran Mandrake 7.0 on a old PC I had. Linux can be pretty cool but hard to master. I would highly suggest going to a bookstore and buying a good linux book or two. The reason I quit running it was because I got tired of some of the command line stuff and it wasnt compatible with my soundcard and modem. But I can say that I never had it freeze up or crash on me. Extremely stable.

I've played around with a few Linux builds, but I would not want to use it as a primary OS. Windows is more user friendly, with much more software available.

I'd rather use OSX than Linux... (Yes, I know it's *NIX-based)

I've been testing it out in VMWare. I'd like to use it more, but I like my gaming too much. Thanks for the responses.
Cheers,

Release.
