Virtual PC

Postby RabidYak on Wed Jan 21, 2004 8:32 pm

Anyone know if the new Microsoft version of Virtual PC has been branded by the activation code Nazis? I'm tempted by it to save the hassle of dual booting or keeping an old machine around for 9x, but i'm not going to lash the money if I have to go running to the big M everytime I want to install it.

Super bonus if anyone can provide a cougthDiscountcougth copy.

Dude, it's just like the CD-keys that most games have. If you buy it, you will get it in the package, and you don't have to go to anyone at all.
Same with WinXP.

Retail and OEM copies of Windows XP and Office 10 and 11 require an activation code from MS either manually via phone or automatically over the net. Only volume licenced copies and knock-offs don't have them.

Ok.. cool... I've now deleted vpc2k4 from my webspace (don't want my ISP busting my balls). If anyone else wants it I can repost.
Cheers,
