My FTP will be down for a while:(

Postby ivwshane on Sat Aug 02, 2003 3:17 am

For some reason one of my drives doesn't show up:(

I can see it if I install it on another system and I can use another drive in it's spot.

Untill I figure out what the hell is going on my FTP will be down.

I've setup a temporary fix for now so it's back up.

I still have no idea what the hell is wrong but at least I know the drive isn't dead.

I was uploading Runaway: A road adventure. Is that still there so I can resume?

I don't know if you can resume but it is still there. The drive that was affected isn't one that the FTP really uses.

Most likely because his limit is around 20-25 and there is someone on besides you!

Already 60% througth the first disk, can't be anyone else on at the moment since i'm getting 25-30kb/s.

Graphics looks damn impressive from the pics, strange combination of 2.5D and rotoscoping by the sounds of it.

I think I might have to download that too :D

I spent the weekend doing some BT downloading and hooked myself up with Pocket Tanks Deluxe and all addons, Crimson Skies and Postal 2.

And DAMN! Considering it aint all that detailed, Postal 2 runs like shit using the new Unreal Engine. Surely there must be far better engines out there than that one. Its playable though and should be fine when the missus sorts the PC out with more memory. Anyway, Im in a pirating mood!!

I hope that site doesnt rely on flash too much or I wont be able to peruse it at work.

Woah that game looks sweet!!

Looks to me to be one of those where you can easily die unlike the invincible character, puzzle solving style of Monkey Island.

Couldnt tell us a little about the game could you Damian. The website is lacking a gameplay section.

Postal 2 has an awful shoddy engine that needs to be shot.

Not played that much of runaway yet, but AFAIK you can not die, and the gameplay is adventure standard. Get this item, add it to this one.. try it on the lamp sort of thing.

Its a cheapass USB webcam for the PS2 that is surprisingly entertaining and also you get some exercise too.

You slap it on ya telly and adjust it. You appear on the screen mirrored so that the movements you make feel natural.

Then you play different games (12 in total and a load of showie things for the olds) but the best one is Kung Foo where you appear in between 2 buildings and have to attack the ninjas jumping out at you. What makes it even better is the swoosh noises your arms make as you move them :D Then in the bonus stage you break boards.

Theres a funny window cleaning one where you start off behind a wall of foam and have to clean it. Copy the dance moves game, hit things in time with music one, plate spinning (keep em going and hit away the naughty monkies) erm.... and a few more.

Oh yeah Football keepie uppies is another one.

The hall of mirrors bonus effects thing is funny for stoners like myself and drunkards alike.

Yadda yadda yadda £35 so yadda yadda £5 cheaper than normal yadda.

Im not selling you here am I Yak? LOL

intalled Runaway earlier pretty neat game, but it's hard as hell! whoever made this was expecting way too much of people, i can barely last 20 minutes without opening a faq.

my other problem is the main character is an annoying dork.
