cmd32.exe

whenever i start my computer i get this:

"Windows cannot find 'D:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd32.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly...."

anybody know what the hell this means? whn i started to get that a few problems started happening on my PC eg; Virtual Pool 3 used to work fine but now even after a re-install, windows wont let VP3 even start.

argh.

I know there was another topic like this before but oh well.....

Hey Zep good to hear of another VP3 fan out there.

If you have the proper bought version then you can download the latest patch for it. Shouldnt be too tough to find.

That will make it work with XP properly.

When I first installed my copy on XP I couldnt skip the intro movie and once it had finished playing all I got was a black screen and the menu music. I had to minimise and restore the game to see the options.

It works fine with the patch now though.

fucking worms and viruses.... why do people even bother? thanks for the link ivw. i download norton anti virus and i think it's cleaning/deleting the infected files. i also had to fuck about in reg edit for a bit. :evil:

as for VP3... don't you find it wierd how one day it works fine and the next day it doesn't?
