Just downloaded Jedi Knight (the first one) off kazaa but it doesn't seem to run under win xp. does anybody know of a patch or any other way around this lil problem?

Works perfectly here, must be a shitty rip or something wrong with your PC.

Go out and buy a copy, its a fucking excellent game that still pisses over almost every other FPS. The only thing the third game has over it is better saber and force controls, which was pissed away by the fact that its about half the length of its predecessors.

Dont mean to state the obvious here but you have tried adjusting the compatibility in the properties menu havent you?

Usually is makes fuck all difference but its worth a try.

do they still sell this game? it must be about 99p?

and yes, i've tried the compatability mode.

Works strait out the gate for me, didnt need to touch the compatability settings or anything.

It was available on budget packaged with the expansion pack fairly recently, not sure if its still about though. If you can't find it, i'll upload it when i'm back on the dole in a few weeks.

What actually happens when you try to run the game? Are there any options to run the game in software mode or anything like that?

the screen goes black and then i get that win xp error message saying that it's fucked up and if i wasnt to sent a report to microsoft. w00t.
