Unreal 2, not Tournament

Postby adidas on Mon Feb 17, 2003 3:04 pm

Who's tried it? It runs like crap on my machine :(

It's a shame really, since the original Unreal title was one of my favorite PC games of all time.

If you've got it, and it runs well, post specs here please!

I'm leeching it right now, althougth I probably wont have it all until the end of the week.

Dunno if i'm going to get anywhere though, it doesent appear to be compressed in any format I recognise and the images seem to be 740-odd megs a go. If I actually manage to extract and burn the thing, i'll let you know what sort of performance I get out of it on my 2200+.

Haven't get the chance to try it out yet. But from what I heard you gotta turn off EAX to actually enjoy the game a decent speed. Even after their patch EAX still drags down the speed alot.

My processor speed doesn't seem to be up to par with yours.... I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon, so I guess I can wait to play Unreal 2.

I haven't put it on my sys yet, but I played it on my friends. He was running everything at very high prefs. His specs:

Athlon 2800+
1024mb PC2700
Radeon 9700 PRO 128mb

Hope this helps you.

Don't worry, you ain't missing much. The game is short and boring. The only good thing about this game is the graphic and nothing else.
