How to pirate counter-strike?

Is it possible to pirate counter-strike and actually play it online???

I thought counter-strike was a free HL mod? Maybe I am wrong.

So all you need is a copy of Half Life from somewhere and then download the mod and use The All-Seeing Eye to look for internet games. Couldnt be easier.

I dont understand exactly what you mean by pirating something thats free.

I thought you had to have a valid serial to play it online? I have a piratted Half-life with serials, but there not valid for online play. If I bought half-life and used its serial it would work, but who really wants to go buy half-life?

I think some Geoshock members were discussing this a while back.
I ahve 2 original copys of HL and i keep loosing the fucking serial.
I found a working offline serial but as my net connection sucks (800+ ping??) i didnt bother.

OK I have a legit copy of HL and still have the original key on the back of the box.

I am going out tonight so I wont be in but soon as I get the chance I'll post my key here. Seems to work fine for me.

Are you sure you have HL updated to the latest version otherwise it wont work?
