I had Opera installed for ages and ran Adaware several times during that time period, it never turned up any spyware for me. I must have had an older version without spyware.

It doesn't have spyware; just uses cydoor's server to deliver ads. Also apparently cydoor have cleaned up their act recently.

There is nothing to worry about here. For the free version of opera they have to have some way of getting ads, so they wrote their own code to do it and use cydoors servers to get them.

No matter, I'm still waiting for version 7.
