I'm no expert but I owned a Pong console.

At any rate, questions are what keeps the board lively so ask away. I'm sure someone will know the answer. (Hell...I might even know)

This is going to sound very ignorant (what a surprise), but here I go...

When I was very young, I used to play an atari for hours and hours every single day that belonged to my step-dad, probably originating from 1974-1978.

But, sadly I don't know what model it was. My favorite game was Dungeon and Dragons.

I lost total interest in it when I bought my NES in 1987.

What is the best way for me to search for the console..?? I've looked everywhere but can't find it. Help!

ARRGGGHHHH!!! Wrong dates!! <Idiot

I should have said 1978-1984!! My step-dad was a young chap during this period.....so that is my rationalization!

I feel like a bigger idiot than usual now! I think that the adults I was around called the damn thing an Atari..like we say Kleenex for any type of tissue! Nooooooo!

In fact, I just found the bloody thing in an old issue of Edge Magazine--Mattel Intellivision 1980. Darn!

Many thanks, Were!

http://www.aceroms.com has a complete collection of Intellivision roms, if you can't find your game there, you won't find it. As a backup site, you could use http://www.classicgaming.com. They distribute the Intellivision roms in packs (more than one in a zip file)

Or emuchina.net but they dont do packs of games.

Use the same emu that Damian downloaded. Its called Bliss but its a bit big. Something like 6mb so be prepared for a wait unless you have wideband.

Make sure you read the readme as it tells you what other files you need to get to get the thing working. I tested it earlier and had no probs. Just check out the post in the Emulation Woes section.
