That reminds me of the old days of emux, when everyone was flaming everyone else about DC piracy.

If I were going to buy a Gaycube, I'd download some pirated games

I haven't seen anything from that system that would make me want it yet. It looks like an N64 with better graphics.

Besides, where's the proof? I haven't seen any proof yet that it's been cracked.

Game Cube piracy...?

Postby Pdaimaoh on Sun Nov 25, 2001 1:25 pm

yeah yeah...

I won't pirate the cube...

except for sega and eidos and the other blacklisted companies if they make any cube games I want

nintendo isn't going to be hurting anyway
Sega was in financial problems long before DC piracy, that was like stabbing someone that has already been stabbed several times

Nintendo is MAKING money off their Cubes, not losing money
and then they have the almighty super cashcow Gameboy on their side

I usually like to buy the games I like anyway, since I want packaging and manuals and such

Game Cube piracy...?

Even though I like free games I like to give new systems a chance, so I'm willing to pay for some games. However if it turns out the gamecube is just another N64 (and I mean as far as game quality goes not graphics) then I probably will start collecting GC iso's just to have.

wouldn't it be easier to pirate the X BOX? after all, it has a hard drive, and an internet connection, so you wouldn't have to burn cds.

just a thought.

Yeah well thats sort of one of the ideas they are toying with right now.

Doing game rental like Blockbuster video shops but instead you use the broadband internet connection to download the time restricted copy of the game to the hard drive. It then bills your account.

How long before people release patches to remove the protection from the games and make them yours forever??

i rather Mr.Bean,despite a short-lived series

i dunno about the xbox..it still reminds me of 3do though..and the 500 price tag up here in canada is STILL quite steep, i rather wait 6 months until the price drops a little..:-(
