I think the reason people hate it so much was for a couple of reasons;

I think the emulation community is based on people that work for free and give their work to all for free. I think the emulation community also has this free mentality whether they be on the receiving side or the developement side. And of course bleem wasn't free.

Also and probably the biggest factor, is that if you have to pay for something people are going to expect it to work, however bleem did not not work 100% hence people were unhappy with it.

I thought bleem was nice when it worked but I later prefered VGS for it's sheer compatibility.

Many people are pissed at Bleem because they originally did pay the $25 for it, and of course it was full of bugs. But they were promised by Bleem that an free update would become available within that year. Did it? of course not, in fact it was mockingly released a few months ago, and a lot of good it did then.

And Rommy I suspect that if you had paid for that shit fest you love using so much, and tried its rivals with the same degree of enthusiasm; you would also dump it into your digital bin with those non pron anime films.

Very very true. You only had to check the compatibility list as bleem.com and see the pitifully low amount of games that had full support. You'd have thought that great and popular games like THPS would be fully supported but no.

THen comes bleemcast. They first offered one or two discs that supported just about all the titles but then got greedy and said they would release 1 disc per game so you needed to buy both the PSX game and the bleem disc for each game you wanted to play. Needless to say it belly flopped worse than a horse jumping off a diving board and how cut up about it we are too.

Oh yea, why is Sonic crying? They should put the picture of entire Bleem! crew crying instead! They just lost their job!!

Gotta admit if the game was supported by Bleem! and you have very powerful system (and I really mean powerful!) you can see the great image quality it could do. But overall Bleem is just not as good as what they promised.

i remember seeing the "producer" of bleem on electric playground awhile back and i was suprised to actually showing there faces on TV.

Still though, i feel sorry for the people who bought in on the bleem thing.Makes me wonder what happened to the "hackers" of bleem..jail,colleges,jobs worth 100,00 a year..oh yeah..
