Sometimes Even Console Emulation Can be Deceptive

Wow I tried this emulator today and was surprised to see it working at nearly 100% and on it's second release. Only the sound was a little strange... skipped or something.

I suggest that you try it today!

now I've got to go find some damn roms (only got Mario 64!). Anybody know of some good sites?

Man I've got search engine sickness... and google is usually good... sooo many false links that take you to a top xx site, WTF!!!

I bought an N64 for £15 last week with one pad, a memory card and the two Zelda games. I saw it as a pretty good deal.

Only thing now is I can't think of any other games which were even close to "good" on the N64. I'm sick of James Bond and I don't want a FPS shooter; my PC handles that type of game a zillion times better. What other good N64 games are there?

I'm pretty sure this page of links is all you need, I've got so may N64 roms from these sites......

Emuchina has a lot of N64 roms, too.

If you can't figure out which link to click on to go to the next page of roms, just change the page=1 to page=2, and so forth.

I?m going to renege on my earlier comments regarding this emu? seems they were a bit premature. Project 64 runs Mario 64 (and Wave Race 64) amazingly well, BUT at this point it runs every other rom like shit!-(of course I haven?t tried them all)- I will say that it does have potential though, so watch for it in the future. Give it about 6 more months of development and maybe try it then if it?s still around. But for now forget it.

Zep as for other good N64 games, try Mario, Wave Race, Mario Tennis/Golf, Smash Bros. And F-Zero X. and well that?s about it? Third party stuff on that system is pretty lame.

Adidas, that link (http://spinal.emulation64.com/roms.htm) is one of the main ones I used?a lot of broken links. The site on the very bottom of that list generated so many pop ups I had to use Task Manager to shut them all down, but I had to break my internet connection first, it was horribly bad, the worst pop up site I have seen!

Yeah, there are broken links, and some of the sites have pretty bad pop-ups, but there are a lot of roms to be had there. You just have to work a little at it

I've never used an N64 emu before, what kind of power do you need to run one and how the hell does it deal with the analogue stick thing?
