Sometimes Even Console Emulation Can be Deceptive

Heh its not even out in the UK yet but if they did emulate it I would assume they would use an interface with a split screen of some sort.

As for the touch screen I suppose the mouse would double up as the stylus with the possiblility of holding down the left button to tell the emulator that the stylus has been applied to the screen.

Sounds plausible enough I suppose.

Well, nobody ever posts up here anymore so I thought I would!!

Seems like DS emulation is a reality then and its only been out 5 bloody minutes!!

Im wondering what kind of power its gonna require. For some reason I never could play N64 games very well on either my P600 or the 1.6gig athlon. Strange that.
Hopefully DS will require less. I just wanna see what its like mostly.

we do post here..just very couple MONThs.:)

i think the ds will take more power than an n64 due to its hardware.I wouldnt hold my breath of perfect emulation from it anytime soon

I'd be nice if someone actually did a proper job of the N64 first, gawd forbid that somebody actually emulate the entire system instead of slapping together a couple of processor cores and a plug-in system for other people's half arsed video simulators that only work properly for a few dozen games each.

Yeah looks that way. I never bothered with GBA emulation really although I always wanted to play the sequel to Golden Sun...
I tried that monkey ball game on it once but wasnt really impressed.

I haven't had a problem with any emulator running on my 1.2ghz pc.....

I can comfortably use the N64, psx, gba and all the "lower" consoles with ease.

I never could run N64 full speed for some reason. I know I could now with the new PC but I think I wanna get hold of a couple of Playstation to USB converters. Im hoping the postman will just be able to chuck em through the cat flap like the amazon people do.

Hmm interesting....

I doubt I would ever need a 4 player adaptor really. I think Mashed is the only 4 player game on the PC I would like pads for and that is a real killer game and my PS2 version was pretty much fucked straight out of the box. (yeah I know but I lost the receipt like a gimp)

Lemmie know what you think of that little gizmo Zep. Its annoying it says RRP there but have you ever seen anything like that in the shops?
THey had them in Game once but they were really shitty. Totally unconfigurable and unsigned drivers that XP got the hump with.
