My brother d/l Ooga Booga a llloooooonnnngggg time ago, like right after it came out or something and made me a copy, I played it off and on a few times but had nobody that wanted to play it multi so I gave it away to a coworker at the most-hated job, but I never had it freeze. My bro keeps copies of everything in data form, so if you could explain the freeze issue, I'll have him burn another copy and try to recreate it...

I still have a working DC, so I don't think I'd care about an emu as much as a hopeful resurgence of DC isoz because my bro only got games he thought might be cool and it differed a lot from the mad list I would get

I still don't have any personal copy of tech romancer and that pisses me off a lot! (obviously not enough to pay for it! paying for DC games now seems like a waste of money)

Your dreams have come true! Hop over to suprnova.org and search for dreamcast;)

Get yourself a good bit torrent client like torrent storm.

This freezing issue only happened to me when I was playing the game multiplayer. Strangely it didnt occur til Id been playing the game for at least a week or two. Maybe it only kicks in when you have unlocked all the characters or soemthing like that.

Even stranger was that when I wiped my mem card and started again the freeze problem was there from the very start.

The game will play smoothly for about 4 or 5 seconds and then freeze for 2. Then off it goes again smooth, stop, smooth, stop.

Frustrating to say the least.

Ooga Booga always froze up on me after a while. Didn't matter whether it was mulit-player, single player etc

I think it was a bad release and a proper was never released.

Possibly a memory problem, then, and not copy protection, that sounds like the DOA problem some Dreamcasts had, where that 'loading engines' screen or the end of battle screen would sit there for anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 full minutes (never saw a complete freeze, but my bud's DC had this happen with DOA2 all the time).

Screw it then, I didn't like ooga enough to play it for more than a few hours alone, let alone days or weeks... that's probably why I never saw it

thanks for the link, too, I have a shitty BT program I used to snatch up a porn movie someone wanted to trade for some other porn I wanted...
(mmm purple hair anime chicks! it's a weakness)
I just got a fresh batch of blank discs for HD cleaning, too!

Whoa, I forgot to thank you for the proper link, then the site died and I go to torrentspy.com for torrents that nobody will let me download (what's this joining a site that doesn't let more than 1500 people join!? gah!)
