At least today's PCs havent got enough poke in them and its not particularly useable at the moment anyway, last thing emulation needs is more legal attention and another feeding frenzy of fuckwit warez kiddys.

Shame some people would rather waste thier coding time on shit like this rather then trying to do something more usefull.

Nah, I actually like a console or an emulator for it that will actually run all its games properly. This is just another pile of HLE pipelining crap designed to make some games playable at the first oppertunity, just like all the shitty excuses for N64 emulators that are about

I have disagreed with you before but on this I definately agree.
Instead of working on good Saturn emus and Dreamcast emus, these kiddies go for the newest system available. Fuck, I still am missing CPS3 emulation.

Bah, I just want an emulator that can play every PC-Engine CD Rom games. These people just go for the newest systems so they can get donations from idiots. What's the point to emulate something that even today's top-end PC couldn't handle well?

I think its more about just seeing if you can do it - irrespective of the hardware you're attempting to emulate.

There might be an emelement of that, but they've obviously just gone for the Gamecube because its a new system. There's still a few good console challenges left that actually need doing, but they don't get the ego and attension points for emulating an older and more obscure system then they do for warezing off something thats still doing big business in shops.

You only have to read the comments bit for the download page to see the sort of intellectual fungus this appeals to, most of them can't even tell the difference between ROM dumps and disc images.
