Thought i'd give Project Tempest another crack today since its recently been rewritten and damn has it improved. Tempest 2000 plays like a mofo now, first proper go i've had since it came out. Dunno aboout anything else though, couldent give enough of a monkeys to download them.
You need a machine with a bit of clout for it, my 2200+ is just on the border with a bit of sound break up and some slowdown between board changes. Quite a bit more hungry then the CoJag stuff in MAME, althougth thats probably more down to the fact that Tempest 2000 actually uses the hardware rather then just streaming everything off a HD like those shitty digitised gun games do.
Runs from a command line and an ini now like MAME does, but thats hardly any problem when theres only one game actually worth playing on the system.
