ROM Request and info?

Somebody I know asked me about Virtua Racer on the Megadrive. I've checked a compatibility list I found and it seemed to say it crashed and was unplayable but it didnt appear to have a listing for Gens and I dont know how old the list was.

Anybody know where I can find the rom and whether its worth getting at all. I.e will I be able to play it in anything?

OK I have answered my own question and that is that none of the emulators support that dodgy unknown 3D rendering chip that came in the cart for that game.

I dont know much about the 32X version though if anybody could help me out with some news on that?

VR works fine with Gens. Just be sure to get the BIOs file and away you go.

They are about normal size for late 80s/early 90s console cartridges, your probably just used to downloading ROMs for arcade games and CD images for Playstations and that.

Big ROM storage capacity was the main excuse for NG carts being so extortanatly expensive, its pretty obvious the money didn't go into developing a decent amount of good games for it.
