holey..i just got word from my brother in halifax that his computer too is all fucked up.They way he sees it, his ram sockets or the ram itself is fried cause his computer is not booting at all
Plus his monitor is not working at all

Where exactly is it getting stuck?
When mine was buggered it wouldnt go past that black screen with the white box containing system information you get just after the ram check.
No it just freezes once out of every 3 tries on bootup but thats on the windows loading screen. I see a small flicker of a black line around that blue scrolling bar that indicates loading and then the bar stops moving and I have to reset and try again. Just a tad annoying.
And before Damian gets in there, no I dont have win2k yet

it looks like now hed tried to "tweak" it abit (more or less overclocking it).Im not sure the whoel story is, but it looks like he fucked up BIGTIME
