Help me burn those damn sega cd images (iso+mp3)

Postby ivwshane on Thu Dec 26, 2002 10:22 pm

Ok I have a ton of backing up to do and I decided that I should get rid of all those sega cd images but they are in the iso+mp3 format.
What's the easiest way to burn these correctly?

Is there any program that will do it automatically or close to it?

My normal choice of cd burning is disc juggler 4 and nero.

bout time..

Hic..!(hangover)

in any case, as i told u earlier, most of the files there dont work for the oddest reason from ur ftp server.. :P

way i do it is use winamp to convert those damn mp3's to wav files and use ex creator(the really one old one:-)...) using drag drop routine to work...i got shining force CD to work like that

however, u may need not to do that, since most emulators will recogzine mp3's(tack1..track2..etc) and the iso..like the infamous wgens.

there is a sega website to get more info.its somewhere in the past forums..something with litespeedcomputers or something..sure pd will know

p.s.-u can also get rid the turbo16 games too..the game pages that releases iso+mp3's are still releasing t16 gamesfrom their sites...shit..i better get them!

The problem is that I have an original copy of sonic cd for sega cd and I can't even get that to work:|

So if I can't get those to work then there is no way I can even verify if the other images I have work.

The problem is that both gens and kega don't reconize my cd-rom drives even though I have aspi installed.

I guess I try ages again.

i have the original sonicCD BACK at home in nova scotia..not in barrie..so i cant copy the program for you..

u try running the game on your hard-drive to verify the game is not corrupted first?

i know for a fact that sol-deace doesnt work..batman stops working after the video..and mickey mania works:-)

Well I tried gens on my winXP system and it worked so I guess win2k is holding me back. I'm in the middle of checking out one of the games I burned from an iso+mp3 format.

Stick around and I'll keep you posted.

Ok I finally got it to work and it's not bad at all. I'm currently converting the iso+mp3's with fireburner and testing them with gens.
1 down and a ton more to go:(
