I could get it to run on ZSNES with some flickering but not SNES9x.

UPDATE: this build runs it with NO flicker!! http://home.attbi.com/~mbrown99/zsnesw.exe (be sure to only use it for this game)

this must have been in the early stages of development, it's almost unplayable.

it's too bad this game got scrapped, cause it had the potential to be really good. it had one of the coolest feature of all of them: you could pick what character you wanted to play as, plus it had new ones.

oh well. :(

yeah, there's a lot of levels where the game just up and crashes

Wow. Damn good graphics for a SNES games. Some of the best graphics I've seen for a SNES game would have to be Donkey Kong Country 3 and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. I own both, and I must say, those games look great and play just as smooth. Cool game.
