So what's the deal about Kazaa?

Heard about this on a newsgroup. It appears to be a cross between Napster & Google (at first glance anyway). Typed in Shrek in the search bar, and in addition to the rom...there are working links to the full movie (what's up with that?!). Kinda skeptical about installing the "full version", though (required to show all hits of a search, the basic search displays random hits with each refresh)...since it mentions ads and such. Anyone used it?

I haven't personally used it, but some people really talk it up
in fact, quite a few people have, so there must be something to it

what's the point of the full version if the version you used got you a bunch of 'stuff' anyway? is your refresh button wearing out?

For one thing, it states that they don't give you full bandwidth (which is probably sheep-dip)...and that's why I was asking (see "shady sites" dept.).
BTW it operates using peer-to-peer connections (like FileNav, so watch yer butt & keep an eye on the connection speed if you are not secure.
