Rom sites are dropping like flies

I've been trying to access snesarena.com all day, to no avail. Please tell me this isn't one that's being added to the list.

Pe2000 seems to be going down the shit spout
too,seeing as the server doesnt seems to be responding at all.

I just tried to get on PE2000.net and it came up with a "page cannot be displayed" message. I was going there to download Star Ocean which is supported by the new version of ZSNES. If SNES arena and PE go down I guess it's going to be more of a challange to find SNES ROMS eh Adidas?

I tried Star Ocean on the new ZSNES, and all I got was crap.

I've got almost all of the SNES roms, but not each version. Usually there's two or three different versions, there are: betas, US versions, Europe, Japanese, demos, hacks, trained versions, and probably more that I'm forgetting right now.

I went to vimm.net today, and all of his downloads are down. According to him, it's temporary. We'll see.

I'm on PE2000 right now, their server is just craptacularly slow, although Raven made a post that the server is much faster now? What did he do upgrade the server from a 286 to a 386???

Where is the patch for Star Ocean? I've got the rom and the new ZSNES says that I've even got the correct checksum, but the graphics look like blocks... at best!

Yeah, I know what you mean. The downloads still work well, if you can get to the download page.

They were supposed to have a server upgrade soon, I wonder if that's still gonna happen.

Wow, I never realized this, but aceroms seems to have the entire SNES good roms collection. The only trick to aceroms is figuring out when their ftp server is online.

Thanks for the info were, but it turns out that the SNES roms are on a different server. It's on all the time. So far I've downloaded the numbered roms through the roms that start with 'B', I do the downloading while I'm at work.

Actually, I've got 160 more 'B' roms to go, and the total size is already 240 MB.

Thank goodness you can set their downloads in your download manager.
