Does anyone remember that site that used to have a ton of sega cd images?
I think it was something like segaextreme? I need to fix a couple of corrupt files:D

Are you referring to AD&D eye of the beholder?
After I have all the games backed up to cd (or at least the ones that aren't corrupt) I will rerip them myself and put them up for you.

It could be a while so please be patient;) My FTP ain't going anywhere so no worries.

the all time greatest game ever...music wise...

Postby Pdaimaoh on Mon Jan 06, 2003 7:48 am

I think you do mean Dungeon Explorer
or it's amazing sequel, as I recall seeing something about a japanese segaCD version of it

if that's the case, it's DE2, the game for the turboduo
it plays like Gauntlet but with more story and RPG elements and a real ending (perhaps like console versions of gauntle)
you run a strange top down veiw with a character that can rapidly shoot weapons you normally don't throw like swords and axes, and you can cast magic spells, too (one black and one white per character)

best music, too

it didn't come out in north america though...not for sega consoles, just turbo

hmm
gamefaqs.com lists Dungeon Explorer as a SEGACD game, but has no info on it...

http://w3.one.net/~boland/games/segacd.shtml says DE was released in america...
as well as "Dungeon Master 2: skullkeep"

http://ryangenno.tripod.com/sub_pages/SEGACDreviews.htm
says the TG16 version is better...

uhh

Postby Pdaimaoh on Wed Jan 08, 2003 5:22 am

well DE was apparently released in north america, were

unless they all call it DE when it's really DE2

DE2 has more than one female character

perhaps you meant Cadash? that has a ninja, but I don't think there's an elf

or perhaps you meant that something oddesy game where you fight in a 3/4 perspective, that had a female elf maybe, but I don't recall a ninja

damn were
what game are you talking about?

(ducking down)

it aint cadash..it was basically and all dungeon game, there very well could have been wepon upgrades(but the same weapon), i remember the style of game was dungeon explorer for the t16..top view not 3d view..there as also gold? liek gauntlet..

i swear on my cat thats THIS game was on EGM AWHILE back, preferably around the time the last batch of segaCD titles went

im gonna search and see if somebody posted ALL the segaCD games avaiable..BUT THIS GAME EXSISTED!!..whether its a beta game or not..

UPDATEgame IS called dungeon explorer BUT very different from the t16 version..there's levels..food..alot different(besides the colors)
