Well I WAS gonna ask but.....

I got high!!!

Heh. Now this is what really happened.

I needed some help with getting SegaCD games to work in xega but that was before the board went down. I hung on to the sonic rom for a while but had to clear some space since I downloaded another 2 DC games. One being the rather large Sonic 2.

ANyway, what happened was that I unzipped SonicCD and it spat out a load of MP3 files and an ISO. Fine, but I was expecting some kind of MP3 injecting prog like you get with some DC games. Oh well, not a prob. Until I loaded Xega.

I got the euro bios rom and loaded it up. This gave me a SegaCD title screen. Then I tried to load the game and it told me to configure the bios rom. Could I find somewhere to configure this rom??? I think not.

Thats when I deleted it to clear space for IMO more important things.

You need to press A at the title screen to get to the music player. Here select options and from there you can delete the memory. Ah well too late now I guess

Got me. I haven't used Xega yet, but I do know that Gens is supposed to support MP3 playback in conjunction with ISO's.

convert the .mp3 to .cda or .wav and then just burn a disc (or use a prog to make a whole ISO/BIN/CDI/etc)

according to segaXtreme I think you just drop the first audio track in as track one, the data track as track 2, and then the rest of the music tracks in order

if you're applying a country code thing, I have no idea when that goes in
but probably after you make the new disc, rip it to a whole image, then apply the patch

and the new AGES is a lot better than Xega right now

check out my new avatar! nobody better copy it!

My SonicCD is USA, it works fine in Xega. Too bad Xega doesn't have any joypad support
