What is the best Nintendo 64 emulator out there. And which ini whould I use for it?

I don't know, I've kinda put N64 emulation off in hopes that when I return to it it will be at 90% perfect. You could try going here for starters.

Actually here would be a place to find out everything you need to get started, including the best N64 emu Project64.

None of them. The only game I've ever tried that is emulated well enough to play for any length of time is Mario64.

All N64 emulators are buggy.

I suppose if you want a N64 emulator, you could use Nemu or Project 64. They're the two 'best'

Why is it that when I play mario most things that should be transparent have squares around them?

Might be a texturing problem with your 3d card.Are you using a glide wrapper?

Although i havent dabbled with N64 emulation in over a year,i had Mario64 running hella
smooth with a voodoo2..
