You want Prey? You got it!!

Postby Silverhaze on Thu Jun 22, 2006 12:31 pm

After years upon years of development (some rumors put it at 10 years of development!), 3D Realms, those fellas responsible for Duke Nukem Forever are just about to release their other big game, entitled “Prey.” Based on the Doom 3 engine with some few tweaks here and there to make it look nicer, this one is looking like it’ll be a bit more than just a regular shooter, with some gravity tricks thrown in for good measure.

You can get the demo weighing in at 449MB here
just choose a mirror and happy downloading!

P.S.: A demo for the 360 should be out soon as well, but if you can’t wait, the PC is the only way to go!

X360 owners can check Live periodically.

Damn I hope my PC is strong enough to play it.

I also hope it doesn't use starforce protection!

Interesting looking game. I like the sound of the features like wall walking and "flipping", it kind of reminds me of old amiga style platformers. Should make for some interesting multiplayer I'm sure.
God gave me everything I want!

Well having spoken to many people that have played the demo on the PC it sounds like a HIT!!

Some of the most innovative FPSing seen in a good while according to most of them. Def recommended!!
