(NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce Grand Theft Auto IV, the next-generation console debut of the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto franchise. Developed by world-class designers Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV will be simultaneously available for the PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360™ and is currently planned to be in stores in North America on October 16, 2007 and in Europe on October 19, 2007.

Now now now WHY didnt they piss off GTA Liberty City Stories because its boring and nobody likes it and begin work on their next gen release of the game. They could have saved a stack of time and money I reckon although I bet Sony would have something to say about it if they tried to release GTA on the 360 before the PS3 is even out! LOL
