Tried out Xbox 360 today... and the demos on show, king kong and call of duty 2 were pathetic as examples of next gen titles. Microsoft in a rush to put the machine out before christmas has reallly neglected the software,and most of the launch titles don't seem very appealling. I'm truly laughing at the suckers who queued up to buy the console on launch day and the ebay madness going on. I'll wait for the modchip first before even considering buying the machine.

That is if they have some interesting games by then.

I haven't even got my xbox (original) yet. I'm anticipating a price drop in those before I get one...

I'm never on the cutting edge anyway. It costs too much money.

Hence my Athlon XP 2000+, GeForce 3 ti200 etc...

Yeah I only got my PC because I was fedup with using an Athlon2k and my PC which was a P600. I had to do some serious saving though.

As for Xbox....well GJ, you and Damian went thundering ahead with your chipping of your Xboxes on the Tottenham COurt Road without me. This time round, lemmie know if you are gonna get one sorted out like you did with the older one and I'll jump on that band wagon in an instant!!

Im not too interested in this system yet. I know its supposed to be better than my PC is at the moment but I think with some SLI action going on.....we'll see.

seems the number one thing on consoles these days if it supports online..

I'm figuring on buying an xbox and chipping it when I get some Christmas money.. (the original xbox, of course)

heh heh sorry about that..did that when i was working.It was pratically "quiet" during my shiftsand was about 25-30minutes per call due to the thanksgiving week in the States.

in unrealted news, the 2 walmarts here had ALL their xbox 360's done before the actual release date of past tuesday.Its a nice system but i wouldn't pay that much for it,especially so close to christmas time,and it wont go down price anytime soon.. :roll:
