It looks nice, I've used that same case before but why intel? There is no reason why to go with intel at this point in time.

I don't know about the rest, but it's a pretty nice case. Similar to mine :)

My CPU temp (and case temps) dropped quite a bit when I switched to the Sonata II from my old Antec.

Pretty nice. Thats onboard graphics though I presume?

Only downside I can see is going for a P4 when theres those lovely dual core 64 bit Athlons out there.

I'd be tempted to go with a nForce4 mobo because theres some new software out that allows most any mobo to support SLI now.

I'm really out of date on my hardware knowledge.

Intel CPU P4 540J 3.2E 1M 800MHz Socket LGA775 Retail

Is that a top of the range processor?

Not too sure but the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core FX60 (Socket 939) is right up there at the top level.

zep, top of the line intel would be one of the dual core models. That isn't

Then I'm guessing that that price seems okay for the PC. I'm guessing it had a mid range graphics card (GeForce 6200)?

The best bang for the buck for the mid range gfx card would probably be the 6600gt.
